Assorted 2015 03 is the twenty fourth storyline in the EGS:NP. It started with EGS:NP Comic for 2015-07-06 and ended with EGS:NP Comic for 2015-09-18. Similarly to Assorted 2015 01 it's a bunch of stand alone comics, but also shorter subarcs. The canon status is not mentioned and may vary.

Summary[]

In the first strip Greg told Dex that was he getting shorter. Greg suddenly shrank to tiny size without Dex noticing.[1]

Then follows a subarc about Writer's Block.[2] The Block was given a mission to rescue a president (presumably the American one).[3] The Block fought a dragon.[4] Then the Block was given a medal for saving the president and (somehow) a princess.[5] Then the Block's adversary, the Writer's Sphere, declared that it would be back as it would never run out of ideas.[6]

Then followed one strip with Larry showing Rich a pinup with Grace and Cheerleadra. Surprisingly, it's Rich who didn't like that one, as he complained about the people depicted breaking the fourth wall by looking at the viewer.[7]

Then there's a strip with Susan thinking that she should cut her long hair unless she could think of logical reasons for her hair length since it is impractical. She decided that the cool way the hair moves is a logical reason.[8]

Then there are three strips about Susan and Elliot discussing movies. After they had watched a terrible movie, Elliot thouight there was a charm to it as it gave the impression of being the result of friends having fun, but he still thought it's terrible (according to the commentary, this is inspired by the work of Adam Sandler).[9] Then Susan complained about Lucy as it is based on the myth of people only using ten percent of the brain.[10] Then Susan praised Wreck-It Ralph for raising philosophical questions.[11]

Then Susan and Elliot disagreed about a movie and Susan said that opinions can be objectively wrong if they are based on factual beliefs that are wrong.[12] In a strip addressing readers debating the definition of opinion, Susan elaborated that the "it's just my opinion" defense is wrong when debating facts.[13]

Then, while Catalina was renting a movie, Ronin told her to boycott it because of the people involved with the movie.[14]

In the next strip Grace enthusiastically told Sarah (well, probably Sarah, it could just as easily be Tedd) that she had discovered adventure games from Sierra (the commentary mentions the King's Quest series). Later Grace was just as enthusiastic about walkthroughs, presumably of the same games.[15]

In the next strip Dan joked to Minion about watching the movie Minions.[16]

In the following strip Minon asked Dan why her squirrel avatar hadn't appeared for a while. Dan summoned a duck (not the demonic duck) to distract Minion and flee.[17] Then Dan said that readers wouldn't care about the avatar but when she read her email, which she hadn't checked for a long time, to confirm that the readers didn't care, she found that there were many mails about the avatar.[18] Dan then explained that he didn't draw his avatar because she doesn't think of himself as a squirrel and didn't replace it by a human avatar since he doesn't like his actual look and wouldn't draw himself as a human who looks different.[19] Minion asked if Dan's avatar would stick to one gender. Dan was disgusted by the thought and said that most humans a weird in that regard.[20]

In the next strip Noah told Melissa that he had a feeling that there was something going on that he could help with but it would overcomplicate matters.[21] This is likely in reference to Noah not appearing in the storyline So A Date At The Mall.

Then Dan complained about people spoiling movies during conversations about unrelated topics and about the notion that spoilers about old movies are acceptable. Minion revealed that this complaint was inspired by Minion spoiling Real Genius during a conversation about Batman Forever since Val Kilmer is in both movies.[22]

Then Minion suggested that Dan should drink tea as Dan was tired after she gave up using caffeine in an unsuccessful attempt to improve her sleep pattern. When Dan tried tea, she became more alert and also more curvaceous.[23] Sarah pointed out that Dan looked different and Dan explained that she had just decided to draw her avatar differently but when she drank more tea she became even more curvaceous and her clothes became slightly skimpier and when Sarah drank the tea she changed similarly and additionally her hair became longer and curly.[24] Then Sarah, whose clothing was now skimpy, suggested to Tedd that he drink the tea his clothes became skimpy, revealing a muscular body, his hair grew long and he became taller.[25] In the next strip Susan drank coffee and didn't change.[26]

Then Dan played with a remote, changing Diane like the tea while she was walking with Rhoda[27] and then turning Rhoda into a shirtless but furry foxgirl.[28] Then Susan and Catalina were changed in the same way as Diane and Rhoda but since Susan had planned for it by wearing a long-sleeved, turtle-necked shirt, her cothing didn't become very skimpy.[29] Then Dan became bored by the transformations and undid them.[30]

In the next three strips people wrote letters to Nintendo about Super Mario Maker: Tedd asked for the option to turn into Peach, Rosalina and Samus using the Mystery Mushrooms and the option to customize Mario, including his gender.[31] Grace asked for animal transformation suits.[32] Susan asked for more playable woman characters in Nintendo games in general and specifically for Daisy to appear in proper Mario games.[33]
